My goal is to help move the city forward to a new level of growth and prosperity. A vote for me is a vote to keep our city vibrant and growing with quality and integrity.
SUPPORTERS
We are proud to support Carole Lochhead, a former MISD teacher. Carole's excellence in the classroom spilled over into her many efforts on the Mesquite City Council which helped bring us the beautification of the medians, the Performing Arts Center and the Convention Center. These and other amenities, as well as joint city-school projects, have set Mesquite apart from the cities around it.
Dr. Ralph and Anne Poteet
Former Superintendent of the MISD 1964 - 1986

I served on the city council with Carole from 1992-2003. Carole's leadership and compassion made these good years for the city. Carole's expertise in neighborhoods and housing issues made her a valuable member of our team. Carole understands the importance of good fire and police protection. Carole was always a leader for safe neighborhoods and parks. Carole was always looking for ways to stretch our tax dollars. Carole's experience is needed as we redefine our city.

My mother’s prior experience within city government, both on Planning and Zoning Commission and on City Council, has provided her with the skills necessary to analyze and act upon complex, important decisions. She has a proven track record of working with others to continue making Mesquite attractive to businesses, while at the same time increasing the quality of life for all citizens of Mesquite.

I’ve always believed in “dancing with the ones that brung you.” Carole Lochhead has my vote because she’s brought Mesquite a long way.

I know of no one more capable of being our "watchdog over city hall" than Carole Lochhead. She is a proven conservative when it comes to holding the line on frivolous spending and tax issues. A long time advocate of the Mesquite Police Department and the Mesquite Fire Department, Ms. Lochhead has been a champion of the City of Mesquite for over 40 years. We need her voice on the Mesquite City Council.

Carole Lochhead, my mother, has worked and lived in Mesquite for over 40 years. She has a desire to serve this community and help make it better for all of us. Her leadership qualities and good decision making skills make her a key citizen to represent our community. In the past, she was very successful making important decisions for the best of Mesquite as a whole, and will continue with that tradition.

Please vote with me on May 9th, for Carole Lochhead, as your city council woman.
